What is Animation?

Animation is the quick display of a sequence of images in either 2D or 3D artwork or Computer Generated Images (CGI) in order to create an illusion of movement. Simple put, Animation is an optical illusion of motion. This can be accomplished in many ways, but the most common are motion picture or video program. An older style of presenting animation can also be found in what is called a flip book.

What is Visual Arts?

The visual arts are art forms that focus on the creation of works which are primarily visual in nature. Such examples would include drawing, painting, photography, printmaking and filmmaking. Although, this definition is not strict because visual arts can also be found in three-dimensional objects, such as sculpture and architecture. The current use of the term "visual arts" includes fine arts as well as crafts, but this was not always the case. Before the 2oth century when the movement of Arts and Crafts in Britain came about, "visual arts" referred to a person working in the fine arts not handicraft, craft, or applied arts.

Currently, I am interested in working for a company in 3D Animation in film and Cinematic for Games. I don't have 5 years of experience like all the application are asking for but I do have a BS Degree in Computer Animation and an understanding of locomotion as well as a large history in art, how else is one going to get that experience if only the experienced get hired? Look at it this way. I can learn to do it your way instead of trying to convert someone else's way of doing it to fit your way. My Resume.

However, if you are not a corporation looking for new blood, I do work with Adobe Flash and have produced most my animation and visual arts projects with this product. I do have personal experience in 3Ds Max which can also be view in my portfolio area.
